Talkshow “Chiếc vé thành công nghề Du lịch ”: A Career Orientation Map for Văn Hiến University Students
With the goal of creating a space for interaction and experience sharing between professionals in the tourism industry and current students, the Faculty of Tourism at Văn Hiến University organized the talkshow “Chiếc vé thành công nghề Du lịch ” featuring experienced experts and a large number of students.
The program served as an open forum where industry specialists and students exchanged knowledge and shared practical experiences throughout their academic, working, and career development journeys. Through this, students were better equipped with problem-solving skills, gained clearer career direction, and had their passion for the profession ignited.
The talkshow was honored to welcome two distinguished guests, both experienced professionals actively working in the tourism sector:
- Mr. Lê Hồng Thuận – Outbound Team Leader, TST Tourism and Trade Services Joint Stock Company, and alumnus of the Faculty of Tourism, Văn Hiến University.
- Mr. Lê Hữu Tuyền – Deputy Director of Di Sản Mekong Company.
From the perspective of industry insiders, the speakers shared many engaging and vivid stories detailing their career-building journeys in tourism. Their honest insights—from initial challenges to current successes—provided students with motivation to pursue their dreams and readiness to face future obstacles.
The live interactive session between speakers and students was lively, featuring numerous questions revolving around job opportunities, professional skills, market demands, current tourism trends, and personal development strategies. Each question was answered with real-world experience, broadening the students' career perspectives.
This talkshow not only provided specialized knowledge but also fostered a spirit of learning, connection, and sharing across different generations in the profession. This encouraged students to take initiative in developing both their skills and professional resilience.
The Faculty of Tourism at Văn Hiến University will continue to maintain and expand career orientation activities to help students gradually reach success, through knowledge, courage, passion, and ambition in this promising smoke-free industry.
