Undergraduate Admissions for Programs of the Faculty of Tourism – 2026
Pursuant to the 2026 undergraduate admissions plan of Van Hien University, the University hereby announces the admission of undergraduate programs under the Faculty of Tourism as follows:
I. ADMISSION MAJORS
1. Tourism Management

• Duration: 4 years
• Program Description: The program aims to train graduates with comprehensive knowledge of tourism management, including planning, organizing, and developing tourism destinations; managing tourism enterprises with a focus on sustainability and international integration.
• Career Opportunities after Graduation: Graduates may work as tour guides, tourism managers, tour operators, tourism marketing officers, event management specialists, or lecturers at vocational schools, colleges, and universities. Employment opportunities are available in travel companies, licensed tour operators, tourism resource management agencies, research centers, and related organizations.
2. Travel and Tourism Services Management

• Degree Level: Bachelor’s Degree
• Duration: 4 years
• Program Description: The program provides students with knowledge and skills in organizing, managing, and operating travel and tourism activities; designing and delivering tour programs; tourism guiding and tourism service business operations.
• Career Opportunities after Graduation: Graduates may work as specialists in accommodation, marketing, customer service, conference and event organization; tour designers at domestic and international travel companies or non-governmental organizations; officials at tourism departments and agencies; or engage in tourism research and teaching at educational and research institutions.
3. Hotel Management

• Degree Level: Bachelor’s Degree
• Duration: 4 years
• Program Description: The program equips students with professional knowledge and skills in managing and operating hotels, resorts, and accommodation facilities, including front office, housekeeping, restaurant operations, and customer service.
• Career Opportunities after Graduation: Graduates may work in hotels, restaurants, resorts, tourist attractions, and leisure complexes nationwide; travel and tour companies; event and tourism communication companies; tourism departments and governmental agencies. Graduates may also participate in teaching at colleges and universities in Vietnam.
4. Restaurant and Food Service Management

• Degree Level: Bachelor’s Degree
• Duration: 4 years
• Program Description: The program provides specialized knowledge in organizing and managing restaurant and food service businesses, service quality management, food safety, and customer experience management.
• Career Opportunities after Graduation: Graduates may work as staff, supervisors, or managers at independent restaurants, restaurant chains, wedding and banquet centers; food and beverage (F&B) managers at hotels, resorts, tourist destinations, and luxury leisure complexes; operations coordinators, service quality supervisors, or human resource managers in the restaurant and culinary industry; business development and customer service specialists in food service enterprises. Graduates may also start and manage their own restaurant, café, catering, or food service businesses, or continue postgraduate studies in tourism and service management.
II. ADMISSION METHODS FOR 2026
Programs under the Faculty of Tourism admit students through the following methods:
1. Admission based on the results of the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination
2. Admission based on high school academic records
3. Admission based on the Competency Assessment Test of Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City
4. Direct admission in accordance with regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training
