Future Hospitality Leaders Spread Compassion At "Red Sunday 2026"
Beyond their dynamic professional activities, students from the Faculty of Tourism at Van Hien University (VHU) have consistently been pioneers in community service. On the morning of March 8, 2026, the signature blue colors of our Faculty contributed significantly to the resounding success of the 18th "Red Sunday" festival.
"Crimson Drops" from the Hearts of Hospitality Professionals
Guided by the educational philosophy of "Culture – Humanization", Tourism students deeply understand that the pinnacle of service is empathy and sharing. From early dawn at the HungHau Campus, a large number of students and lecturers from the Faculty of Tourism were present to participate in this voluntary blood donation drive.
Among nearly 5,000 volunteers at the event, the presence of VHU’s "Tourism Ambassadors" served as a testament to the spirit of "Unbounded Service." Each unit of blood donated is not merely medical support but a profound message of humanity that hospitality professionals aim to send to the community.

Empowering Knowledge – Accompanying Students to School
In addition to the blood donation, the program held deep humanitarian significance through educational fundraising. This serves as a tremendous source of encouragement for underprivileged students with outstanding academic achievements:
- Donating 100 million VND to the "Empowering Students to School" Fund.
- Presenting 20 computer sets to support technology integration and digital transformation in learning.
- Awarding 100 scholarships to individuals actively involved in the voluntary blood donation movement.

Notably, the presence of Miss International 2024 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy strongly inspired students regarding a beautiful lifestyle and social responsibility.

Pride in the "Service" Mission
The event became even more meaningful as Van Hien University and HungHau Agricultural Corporation were honored with Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. This is a prestigious recognition of the persistent journey to spread love nurtured by the University's academic community, including the dedicated faculty and students of the Faculty of Tourism.
Although the "Red Sunday 2026" journey has concluded, the compassionate spirit of our Tourism students will continue to shine. Thank you – the young generation who are not only professionally skilled but also possess warm hearts, always ready to serve the community!
